Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) helps you identify unhelpful thought and behaviours which are rooted in your core beliefs and attitudes. A trained CBT therapist will help you identify your sabotaging thoughts, triggers and behaviour patterns and will give you scientifically proven tools which will help you understand why you overeat and how you can stop it.
Those tools are based in neuroscience, mindfulness and psychology, and each week your therapist will take you through a tool and help you implement it in your life. During the programme you will learn the skill of weight loss, and like any new skill, you get to practice between sessions. This is an important element to the programme, as you are creating new habits and neuropathways in your brain. As the saying goes, ”The more you practice, the better you get”.
